Oak Park 42, Salesian 20--Brendan Bickley rushed for 157 yards in 22 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead the Eagles to the easy victory at home.
Oak Park, champion of the Tri-Valley league, raced to a 28-0 lead at halftime and held off the Santa Fe League’s third-place entry in the second half. The Eagles gained 418 yards, including 347 on the ground.
Oak Park quarterback Mike Stern completed seven of 11 passes, including his last six attempts, for 71 yards and a touchdown and junior fullback John Leibe carried six times for 77 yards and scored twice.
