Fairfax 60, Cleveland 52--Ryan Hickman scored 20 points and Roderick Sullivan added 15 for Fairfax in a second-round game of the St. Monica tournament at St. Monica High.
Cleveland (1-2) trailed, 36-34, at halftime after shooting 52.2% (12 of 23) in the first two periods, but the Cavaliers made only four of 14 (28.6%) field-goal attempts after intermission.
Brandon Martin and Kenny Collins each scored 14 points for Cleveland.
Notre Dame 51, Marshall 50--Omar Seikaly hit a layup with four seconds remaining to give Notre Dame the championship of the Burbank-Hoover tournament.
G.C. Marcaccini, the tournament’s most valuable player, had 13 points for Notre Dame (3-0).
Pomona 123, Crespi 96--The Celts set a school scoring record but it wasn’t enough to beat Pomona in a San Luis Obispo tournament championship semifinal.
Rasaan Hall led Crespi (1-1) with 30 points and John Curtin had 18.
Crespi’s previous scoring record was 95, against Salesian in 1974.
