Special Editions : World Report to Focus on New World Order

The 1990s represent nothing less than the beginning of the first new historical age since the 16th Century, many futurists say.
The end of the Cold War is only a start, in this view. Under way are simultaneous upheavals in the world’s political structure, its economic thrust and its technological base.
For much of the past year, two Times correspondents have traveled the globe to find out how what some are calling the “post-modern age” will affect America.
Their report will appear in special editions of World Report on Dec. 11 and Dec. 18.
World Report will not publish on Christmas Day, but will reappear on Jan. 1, 1991.
