MISSION VIEJO : Santa Available by Phone and in Person

Children in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District and in Mission Viejo will get a chance to visit, write to or speak with Santa Claus in a series of events scheduled for this month.
Children will be able to call Santa from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. through Friday at (714) 586-1234. The call is free.
Letters to Santa will be collected in front of the school district offices, 25631 Diseno Drive, until Dec. 20. Children who include a self-addressed, stamped envelope will receive a personal reply.
A breakfast with Santa is scheduled Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the district offices. Cost for the breakfast of pancakes, sausages and juice is $2.50 for children 12 and under, and $5 for older children and adults.
Parents in Mission Viejo can arrange for Santa to visit their children at home from Wednesday to Dec. 21. Visits will be made from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon until 9 p.m. on weekends.
A 15-minute visit costs $25, and a 30-minute visit costs $35. To register, the parents must visit the district offices.
