PLENTY OF ROOM: War meant empty seats at South Coast Repertory, where “no shows” leaped to 25% of the expected audience Wednesday night. About 125 people who paid up to $30 apiece for tickets to “Pirates” at the 507-seat SCR Mainstage decided not to take in the play. . . . “We usually run a no-show average of 10%,” a spokesman said. “We had calls from people who said they were concerned about the situation and they didn’t feel like seeing the performance that night.”
