Eva Redick, Piano Teacher to the Stars, Dies

Eva Redick, a Beverly Hills piano teacher who taught Hollywood celebrities and their children for six decades, died last week at age 90.
Redick retired in 1989 to the desert community of La Quinta. She had operated a piano studio in Beverly Hills for 38 years.
She was listed in “Who’s Who of American Women” for her musical accomplishments, including invention of piano practice gloves with weighted fingertips and publication of instruction books such as the illustrated children’s volume, “Piano Playtime.”
Survivors include a daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
