A masked gunman tied up four workers and robbed a popular Burbank restaurant of $8,000 after it closed early Monday morning, Burbank police reported.
No one was injured in the 2:55 a.m. robbery at Bobby McGee’s in the 100 block of South 1st Street, but the robber escaped before police arrived.
Sgt. Don Goldberg said the gunman tied up four employees--three men and a woman.
After the gunman left, one of the men managed to escape and ran about two blocks to the Burbank police station.
Goldberg said the suspect was wearing a leather jacket, blue jeans, a black ski mask and was carrying a revolver.
The gunman used plastic hand-binders that he brought with him to tie up the employees.
