6th Heart Run Scheduled for Sunday

The sixth Heart Run will take place Sunday at Warner Center Park in Woodland Hills.

The five-kilometer (3.1-mile) race is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and the 10K at 8:45. A walk-a-thon is scheduled to follow both races.

Since 1986, the Heart Run has raised more than $70,000 for the American Heart Assn.

The race, tabbed as the official warm-up for the Los Angeles Marathon, will start at the intersection of Owensmouth Avenue and Califa Street.
