FULLERTON : Groups Invited to Adopt, Clean Parks

Applications are being accepted from groups interested in adopting a city park to keep it free from litter.
Under the Adopt-a-Parks program, groups would be expected to visit the assigned parks at least once a week during the 15 weeks of the program. For its efforts, a group can earn up to $500.
Nonprofit, Fullerton-based organizations may apply, and their membership must be made up of at least 50% Fullerton residents.
Applications can be obtained from the Community Services Department at 303 W. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton.
