Rohr Industries: The aircraft component manufacturer reported net income of $5.7 million for the fiscal-year second quarter, which ended Jan. 27. In the year-earlier period, the company broke even. Revenue was $301 million, up 32.1%. The company, headquartered in Chula Vista, said the results were helped by deliveries of systems and parts for the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 tri-jet.
