AT&T; Wins Network Contract From AMR

DALLAS — American Telephone & Telegraph Co. has won one of its largest custom network contracts ever from American Airlines’ parent, AMR Corp.
Terms of the five-year contract were not disclosed, but based on previous AT&T; contracts, the agreement could be worth $100 million to $300 million.
AT&T; will provide domestic long-distance voice services for AMR’s internal and external users.
