Food Poisoning

Hundreds of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia have had bouts of FOOD POISONING from local products, according to 833rd Air Transport Hospital commander, Col. Alvin Cotlar. The first case came a month ago when about 600 were affected by an outbreak of botulism. He said a second epidemic is now occurring--this time, salmonella. No deaths related to the outbreaks have been reported.
