The Forum in Montreal, one of the NHL’s most storied arenas, will be replaced by a 21,000-seat, $150-million facility within five years, the Montreal Canadiens said.
Club President Ronald Corey said the new arena will have about 5,000 more seats than the Forum. It will include 130 box seats--the historic rink has 61--that will sell for $50,000 to $125,000 a season.
