5 in Fishing Crew Lost

LONDON — A British fishing boat sank in the English Channel after colliding with a Cypriot-registered cargo vessel in thick fog Wednesday, and all five crewmen aboard are missing, the coast guard said.
Two empty life rafts were recovered during a rescue operation about 20 miles off Newhaven, and oil was reported on the water.
