Still in Training

While you were publishing “Romancing the Rails” (March 24), my wife and I were journeying from Vancouver, B.C., to Halifax, N.S., on VIA, Canada’s version of Amtrak. Our trip was booked through Rail Travel Center, 9 Congress St., St. Albans, Vt. We can’t speak too highly of them. Their service is exceptional. Also, Canada has a rail pass, CANRAILPASS, not mentioned in your article on rail passes.
