Mayor Tom Bradley has appointed developer and activist Linda Griego to the Community Redevelopment Agency’s Board of Commissioners, filling a vacancy created last week by the resignation of Larry Kirk.
Griego is also a member of the city’s Downtown Strategic Advisory Committee, is active in the Los Angeles Conservancy, serves on the CRA’s Design Advisory Committee and is a former Cultural Affairs commissioner. If confirmed by the City Council, her term will end Nov. 4, 1994.
Bradley also appointed Leland Wong, regional director of government relations for the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care program and former Fire and Police Safety Pension System commissioner, to replace Airport Commissioner Samuel Greenberg, who died last April. Wong will serve out the remainder of Greenberg’s term, which ends June 30, 1993.
