In a nation growing toward 300 million, it is not surprising that one-fourth of 1% of the population might be silly enough to spend their money on the book about President Reagan and Nancy written by the Queen of Garbage, Kitty Kelley. The vast majority of the public can smell this kind of junk a mile away and will not waste their money on it.
It is too bad that those who serve the public in major positions legally become public figures on whom the courts then allow open season by sleaze writers and purveyors of trash such as Kitty Kelley and her publisher.
We hope the Reagans stick by their statement that they will not read the book.
