Digital Sound Corp., Carpinteria, Calif., appointed Robert T. Knight president and chief executive. Knight, vice chairman since 1990, has been a member of the board since 1987. He succeeds Bryan Grummon, who resigned in February to pursue other interests. Knight had been acting president and chief executive.
