Faith Has Its Place, but It’s Not in Sports

After reading Orel Hershiser’s article, I didn’t know whether to laugh or throw up. I counted 20 separate references to God, praying, the Bible and Christianity. Please, spare us the sanctimonious self-indulgence. The next time you want to publish something written by Hershiser, put it in the Saturday religion section where it belongs.
