Furon Completes Expansion Project

Furon Co., a Laguna Niguel-based manufacturer of industrial components, said it has completed an expansion of its West Coast manufacturing operations that will enable the company to produce Teflon compounds that it previously purchased from outside sources. J. Michael Hagan, Furon’s chairman and chief executive, said the company’s new polymer blending facility is in its Anaheim plant. Furon operates a similar facility in Bristol, R.I., in conjunction with its East Coast manufacturing operations.
