‘Voices’ Revue to Open Aug. 27

“Voices,” a new cabaret revue starring India Adams, Jo Ann Greer and Annette Warren, who provided the unbilled singing voices for such stars as Joan Crawford, Rita Hayworth, Ava Gardner and Lucille Ball, will open a two-week run at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel’s Cinegrill on Aug. 27.
Conceived and produced by Alan Eichler and directed by David Galligan with John McDaniel as musical director, the show will include clips from the actual films involved.
Performances are Aug. 27-29 at 9 p.m., with two shows Aug. 30, 31 at 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. A special Labor Day Weekend performance is set Sept. 1 at 8 p.m.
