Alan G. Dunn Purchased: Coopers & Lybrand, the New York-based international accounting and consulting firm, said Wednesday that it has acquired Alan G. Dunn Inc., a Newport Beach manufacturing consulting and training firm, for an undisclosed sum. Alan Dunn, ADI’s president and chief executive, will join Coopers & Lybrand’s Newport Beach office as a partner. The rest of ADI’s staff will also be absorbed into the Newport Beach office. Dunn said in a statement that the acquisition provides an opportunity for ADI to grow beyond the West Coast.
