A 41-year-old man was found shot to death in an Encino parking lot early Thursday morning after a dispute with his roommate, Los Angeles police said.
The victim, whose name was not released because his relatives had not been notified, was pronounced dead just after midnight in the 17000 block of Ventura Boulevard near Genesta Avenue, police said.
The dead man’s roommate, Patrick Sullivan, 31, is being sought as a suspect, said Detective Rick Swanston.
Swanston said witnesses reported seeing Sullivan loitering in the area with the victim.
The two men quarreled and then one man attacked the other, police said. After kicking and striking the victim, the man shot him several times in the head, Swanston said.
