Couple Raise Stake to 20.8% of St. Ives Stock

A Santa Barbara couple have raised their stake in St. Ives Laboratories Inc. to 20.8% of the Chatsworth company’s stock from 19.1%.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Stephen J. Redding and Angelina C. Redding said they bought an additional 115,000 shares of St. Ives stock between June 28 and Sept. 9 at prices ranging from $8.50 to $8.875 per share. The couple now owns 1.44 million shares.
St. Ives makes shampoos and other personal-care products.
