Look Better, Learn Better

In the article on dress codes at Agoura High School, Sean Corey Nessen said, “They’re here to teach us. What we wear should not be an issue.” This is stated as if the students are not part of the learning process, like they are operated on by teachers without taking part in the procedure. How about, “We’re here to learn. If clothes interfere with that goal (and they certainly do) then something needs to be modified.”
