Alex Strong, one of two former Auburn football players who reportedly said they received illegal payments during their college careers, is now backing away from his allegations.
Strong and Eric Ramsey were quoted last week in the Montgomery Advertiser as saying Auburn coaches and alumni gave them money and other benefits in violation of NCAA rules.
