TV’s Mirror on Life

When I sit down in front of the boob tube after a hard day, I don’t want to be lectured, moralized to or reminded of all the social ills around me. I get enough of that by reading the newspaper and watching the news.
The various new TV programs, with an overemphasis on race relations, really turn me off. The TV programs of the ‘50s and ‘60s--now, that was entertainment!
