So Supervisors Harriett Wieder and Tom Riley are dropping their support of the Gypsum Canyon jail project over $7 million, after so much time and so many headaches were spent finding the best county site.
Instead of being worn-out figureheads, their support for the jail made them appear viable and vibrant. Did Riley change his mind because he found out the new jail could not be named for him?
