Wilson’s Veto of Gay Job Bias Bill

When all is said and done about Gov. Wilson vetoing AB 101, those of us on the left, who abhor the veto, and those on the right, who think joblessness for gays and lesbians is best for our state, will share one thing in common.
We will both conclude that Wilson is a weak and vacillating political coward too timorous to adhere to his own announced convictions. And you can bet that, come reelection time, both left and right will comb the state for new gubernatorial candidates who deserve both our vote and our respect.
