Chatsworth 14, Reseda 10--Chatsworth scored first after David Muir replaced starting quarterback Brian Comer. Comer left the game because of a shoulder injury but returned to share time with Muir.
On Muir’s first pass, he threw 62 yards to John Gamm to give Chatsworth a 7-0 lead with 8:49 left in the first half.
Montay Hardison, who did not play in the first half, scored on an eight-yard run with 2:10 to play to give the Chancellors (3-2, 1-1) the win. Hardison, who finished with 78 yards in 13 carries, replaced Juan Vidito, who had 65 yards in the first half.
Reseda (1-3, 0-2) had tied the score, 7-7, after Jong Lee recovered a Chatsworth fumble at the Chatsworth 31 yard-line in the second quarter. Dion Edwards scrambled seven yards for the touchdown.
Reseda took a 10-7 halftime lead when Gerald Cohl kicked a 37-yard field goal 14 seconds before halftime.
