Poly 21, Canoga Park 16--Michael Vreeland caught a 41-yard pass for one touchdown and added another on a 67-yard punt return to lead the Parrots (4-1, 2-0) at Canoga Park.
Poly quarterback Lance Garcia scored on a 14-yard run in the first quarter.
The Hunters (0-4, 0-2) scored on a one-yard run by Andy Ferris and a 32-yard field goal by David Krieder, both in the second quarter. Roland Mitchell’s 13-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter capped Canoga Park’s scoring.
Poly defensive back Ben Bejarano recovered a fumble on the opening kickoff and intercepted a fourth-down pass with a minute to play.
