Chaplinesque: Robert Downey Jr. will star as Charlie Chaplin in Richard Attenborough’s “Charlie,” a movie about the life of the comedian that begins filming Monday in L.A. Kevin Kline will play Douglas Fairbanks Sr., one of Chaplin’s closest friends. Geraldine Chaplin plays her real-life grandmother, Hannah Chaplin.
