Ryosuke Suzuki has been appointed chairman and chief executive of Nikko Securities Co. International Inc., New York.
Suzuki, formerly the deputy chief operating officer of the parent company’s Asia & Oceania Group, will also serve as chief operating officer of the Americas operation. He succeeds Tsuneo Iida, who is returning to Japan as deputy chief operating officer of business planning for the parent company, Nikko Securities Co. Masumi Yamaguchi continues as president of Nikko Securities International.
Suzuki, 51, is a 29-year veteran of the Nikko organization.
