Penalty: $45,000

Violation: Failure to maintain daily adhesive and solvent usage records for a spray-paint booth (chair and food tray assembler).

Company: J.D. Lincoln Inc., 937 Newhall St., Costa Mesa

Penalty: $10,000

Violation: Exceeding permitted hydrocarbon limits in an adhesive mix while operating an oven (adhesives manufacturer).

Company: Greif Brothers Corp., 5701 Fresca Drive, La Palma

Penalty: $7,500

Violation: Exceeding permitted hydrocarbon usage limits while operating a spray-paint booth (metal drum manufacturer).

Company: Stockland Co., 2332 Barranca Road, Irvine

Penalty: $4,400

Violation: Exceeding permitted hydrocarbon usage limits in a spray-paint booth (manufacturer of camper shells for pickup trucks).

Company: Sizzler Restaurants, 5775 Santa Ana Canyon Road, Anaheim

Penalty: $2,000

Violation: Creating a public nuisance by releasing odors into the atmosphere from a drainage system (restaurant).

Company: Aguillon Auto Body Shop, 1429 W. 5th St., Santa Ana

Penalty: $1,000

Violation: Failure to post the required permit to operate a spray-paint booth, failure to provide complete records, failure to achieve required paint transfer efficiency and failure to use an enclosed system to clean spray-coating equipment (paint and body shop).
