In Century League water polo:
Canyon 11, El Modena 9 (OT)--David Kasa scored five goals, including one in overtime, for host Canyon (10-5, 2-0).
In Empire League water polo:
Los Alamitos 8, Esperanza 7--Randy Wright scored three goals and Kyle Padgett scored two for host Los Alamitos (11-6, 1-1).
In Pacific Coast League water polo:
Costa Mesa 8, Trabuco Hills 5--Costa Mesa hung on after leading scorer Julian Popov was ejected in the second quarter after accidentally punching a Trabuco Hills player. J.R. Porter scored three goals for the visiting Mustangs (9-8, 2-0).
