Rexhall Posts Profit After Loss a Year Ago

Rexhall Industries Inc., a Santa Clarita-based maker of motor homes, reported a third-quarter profit of $166,000 compared with a year-earlier loss of $395,000.
The earnings rebound in the quarter that ended Sept. 30 came despite a 4% decline in Rexhall’s sales, to $7.67 million from $8 million a year earlier.
For the first nine months of this year, Rexhall lost $51,000, compared with a year-earlier profit of $1.3 million. Its nine-month sales tumbled 40%, to $21.5 million from $35.6 million.
