Congressional Benefits

President Bush’s calling Congress “privileged” (Oct. 25), as part of his ongoing campaign against the democratic process of which free speech and--yes--leaks are such important parts, further reveals his twisted agenda.
Thank God the Anita Hill matter was leaked, or the public would never have had a chance to question Bush’s latest mediocre appointment choice.
Also, for someone who regularly gives press conferences from the golf courses of the land, when he isn’t vacationing in Maine, to call Congress unduly pampered seems a pretty clear case of the pot calling the kettle black.
