Man Found Slain Near Lake View Terrace

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were investigating the death of a man whose body was found Sunday near the Lopez Canyon Landfill next to Lake View Terrace.
The unidentified man, who was stabbed several times in the chest and face, was found about 6:45 a.m. by a passing motorist on Paxton Street just west of Lopez Canyon Road, Deputy Rafael Estrada said.
Estrada said it was unclear if the man had been robbed or if he was killed somewhere else and the body dumped there.
No one has been arrested.
