The Salk Institute has named an Hawaiian authority on volunteerism as its new board chairman.
John Henry Felix was selected Saturday to succeed Frank A. Dupar Jr.
Felix previously was chairman of the board of the March of Dimes Defects Foundation. He is a Honolulu city councilman and is chief executive officer of the Borthwick Group, a business in Hawaii. He has written several books on volunteerism and organizational leadership.
