Gary Leeman of the Toronto Maple Leafs was suspended for four games by the NHL for a stick-swinging incident in a game against the Minnesota North Stars on Nov. 29. Leeman was given a match penalty for swinging his stick at defenseman Mark Tinordi. Tinordi was not injured.
