CHANGING PARTNERS: The word is that guitarist C.C. DeVille is leaving Poison, with former Billy Idol sidekick Steve Stevens rumored as possibly replacing him. The band’s management offered a terse “no comment.” . . . Living Colour is looking for a new bass player to replace Muzz Skillings, whom we hear left the band over proverbial “musical differences.” . . . Texas weirdos the Butthole Surfers haven’t changed personnel, but they have joined the rush of bands stepping up from independent labels to major ones--in this case Capitol. They’re due to begin recording in the spring.
