Long Beach Cable TV System Sold: A partnership formed by Woodbury, N.Y.-based Cablevision Systems Corp. and leveraged buyout firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. bought the cable system serving Long Beach from Simmons Communications for $132.5 million. Last summer, Cablevision and KKR formed a partnership and said they would spend up to $1 billion to buy cable TV systems. The Long Beach system has 65,000 subscribers.
