The Padres will open workouts in Yuma, Ariz., for pitchers and catchers on Feb. 24, and the rest of the team will joined in on Feb. 27, the team announced.

The Padres’ Cactus League season will begin with a four-game series against the Angels from March 6-9 at Yuma. A charity exhibition between the Padres and organization minor league players will be held March 5. This will be the Padres’ 24th spring training in Yuma.
