MATCHED: Q: What does Lenora Fulani have that Larry Agran doesn’t? A: Federal funds for her presidential campaign. . . . The government announced Thursday that matching funds will go to eight candidates (A4), including President Bush, six well-known Democrats--and Fulani. Fulani is a developmental psychologist from New York who in 1988 became the first woman and first black to run for President in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. . . . Agran, the former Irvine mayor, has been trying to raise enough money nationwide to qualify for the federal funds but hasn’t done so yet.
