San Clemente 60, Costa Mesa 56--Kristin McOwen scored 22 points for San Clemente (7-3), which held a 12-point lead with four minutes to play and held on.
San Clemente’s Michelle MacIntyre, who scored nine points, was injured in the head and neck area in a collision midway through the fourth quarter. She was carried from the floor, but a tournament spokesman said she was alert and talking. She was treated at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. No further information was immediately available.
