OFF THE TICKER : Comic Slips a Mickey to NBC Executives

When comic Jay Leno showed up unannounced Thursday to introduce NBC executives to the press in Marina del Rey, he wore a red sweatshirt with a Paramount logo--and Mickey Mouse ears.
“The rumors about NBC being for sale are completely false,” Leno quipped, a reference to speculation that NBC parent General Electric will sell pieces of the network to such suitors as Paramount and Walt Disney Co.
