FULLERTON : City OKs Raises for Professional Staff

The City Council approved a 5.5% salary increase for 11 professional employees such as administrative analysts, personnel assistants and risk managers for the remainder of the 1991-92 fiscal year.
Council members agreed unanimously Tuesday to spend $19,080 on the raises, which are comparable to those given to other employee groups over the past year. The compensation agreement runs through July.
The agreement also adds a day of vacation for employees with 20 years of service and two days for employees with 25 years of service.
Under the agreement, the entry-level salary of a payroll technician will rise from $25,351 to $26,112. On the high end, the salary of an accounting manager will increase from $52,730 to $54,313.
