Gasoline Prices Fall for 11th Straight Week: Gasoline prices posted their 11th straight decline this week, dropping to their lowest level since the 1990 Memorial Day weekend, according to a national survey released by the American Automobile Assn. The average price for self-serve regular unleaded fell 1.6 cents per gallon to $1.049, matching the level at the start of 1990’s summer driving season, when demand usually pushes gasoline higher, the auto club said. In the past 11 weeks, the price has fallen 9.4 cents, according to the survey. Gasoline prices were higher in the Southwest, but lower in other regions, according to the survey performed for AAA by Computer Petroleum Corp., of St. Paul, Minn.
