Angeles Forest : Mining Forums Scheduled

U.S. Forest Service officials are holding forums Friday and Saturday to get recommendations on managing recreational mining in the forest.
Friday’s session will be from 3 to 9 p.m. at Glendora Library, 140 S. Glendora Ave. Saturday’s workshop is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Follows Camp on the east fork of the San Gabriel River, off California 39 above San Dimas. Written suggestions can be sent to the Mt. Baldy Ranger District, 110 N. Wabash Ave., Glendora, 91740.
