West Hollywood’s first municipal shuttle is scheduled to begin nighttime runs along Santa Monica Boulevard starting Feb. 28. Daytime service is set to start on March 9.
The fixed-route shuttle, called CityLine, will cost 25 cents a ride.
At night, the shuttle will run every 15 minutes along Santa Monica Boulevard from Fuller Avenue to San Vicente Boulevard, with a spur to the Pacific Design Center.
In the daytime, the vans will run every 30 minutes along a wider route that includes shopping areas, the city’s two parks, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Beverly Center.
The four 10-passenger vans, which are accessible to the handicapped, will run weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and evenings from Thursday to Sunday. Evening hours are 7:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. on Thursday and Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
